Boarding life is a vibrant aspect of the Nile Academy experience, and it is rewarding for us to lead a team of dedicated professionals to provide a dynamic residential program. Our aim is not only to provide a safe, caring, and consistent living environment but also to create opportunities for students to experience what it means to live in a cross cultural context.
Working together with students, we desire to foster an atmosphere of community and cultural understanding. Without a doubt, students develop lifelong friendships that circle the globe as a result of living in the dormitory. Such diverse friendships enable students to become ‘globally minded’ and well equipped to make a positive difference in the world.
STUDENT LIFE AT THE DORMS
Our boarding students reside in dorms. On a typical day, the students start their day at 7:00 am and retire at 10:45 pm. Classes are held from 8:45 am to 5:00 pm on weekdays. Each student is required to participate in at least one extracurricular activity of his choosing. These activities are designed to develop physical strength, leadership skills, and a higher sense of self-worth.
