The Senior and Junior Kindergarten students went to Reptilia zoo on April 13, 2017. The students were given one hour educational information on various reptiles such as the tortoise, snake, lizard and the tarantula spider. The students were thrilled to touch and feel the reptiles and were given an opportunity to ask as many questions about the reptiles. Later, the students were given a tour of the entire zoo with a tour guide who explained what the reptiles ate for food and how their food was prepared. During the tour the students saw dangerous reptiles such as crocodiles, alligators, water snakes and poisonous spiders. Students also enjoyed playing in the small jungle themed play area where they could climb, slide and hide which made the entire trip very exciting for the kindergartners. The students and teachers thoroughly enjoyed learning about different reptiles however, the highlight of the trip was touching the reptiles and playing in the play area at the Zoo.
