Our First Long Weekend Passed With Lots of Activities

Our first long weekend was full of exciting trips and activities! The grade 12 students went on a trip to Ottawa, the capital city of our beautiful country, with their homeroom teacher Mr.Eyup Ozeler and Guidance Counseller Yakup Camur. Our Grade 11 students went on a wonderful trip to one of the most popular and most beautiful Canadian historical spots, Niagara on the Lake (NOTL), with their homeroom teacher Mr.Varol Soyler.  Grade 10 students, whom came directly from Turkey, had an excellent picnic on a brilliant sunny day (even though it was October!) with their homeroom teacher  Mr.Fethi Ergun. The Canada-based students enjoyed fun activities such as playing soccer, as well as studying for their exam at school with their homeroom teacher Mr.Halit Ozer.  Grade 9 students headed to Wonderland with TTC, but they were unable to go in (Why? You can get the answer from their homeroom teacher Mr.Halil Somuncuoglu J). They still had a great time during the day though, at Tim Hortons and  Popeyes, and were still able to enjoy the lovely weather. The Grade 10 Canadian students had also planned to go Niagara Falls with their homeroom teacher, Mr.Bilal Kinaci, but had to cancel at last minute – due to Mr. Kinaci’s newborn baby surprisingly coming to earth 2 weeks earlier than expected! Needless to say, the students were quite all right missing the trip.
