On March 6, 2012 the students at Nile Academy participated in Flag Day!
On February 12th Nile Academy High School organized community pot luck for the entire community.
On March 3rd we held our bi-annual Admissions Test and Bursary exam, open to not only Nile Academy students but visiting students as well.
Dear Parents,
A variety of activities, events and presentations have been in session during recent weeks at Nile Academy, and there have been numerous notable achievements throughout the last two months.
Nile Academy’s teakwando team has once again won five medals and has been named the most gentleman team at the Uxbridge Taekwando Academy in Kitchener on march 24, 2012.
The Caribou Mathematics Competition is a Canada wide online contest. There are 4 contests in a year. Our school’s 9 students are attending to these contests from grade 5 – 8.
A great reminder of the friendships that were built in Nile Academy was rendered on the weekend of February 10-12, 2012, as the Grade 12 girls took a much-needed road trip to Collingwood, Ontario.
In November I told the grade 6, 7 and 8 students to write poems to submit for the Young Writers of Canada poetry contest. (more…)
Today’s age is an age that just seems to be on the wrong footing: from the great mega-corporations selling thousands upon thousands of chemical products, to the ever increasing use of medications and surgery, to the disgusting junk food we have grown to adore. (more…)
Much of the discussion in this semester’s ENG4U class encompasses on the problems of the 20th and 21st centuries, which includes mass consumption, overpopulation,government intervention, and technological advances. (more…)
Our Nile Academy students have brought home 3 gold and 2 silver medals from the Taekwondo Championships that had been organized by Villanova College and the Taekwondo Association. (more…)
