On November 6th and 7th, The Nile Business Club wrote the DECA online business test. This prestigious event tested each club member’s business knowledge and skillset in business administration, financial literacy, marketing, hospitality and tourism, finance, and entrepreneurship. Likewise, on November 10th, DECA regionals were held at Brock University’s Goodman School of Business. After an intense round of case studies and written research proposals, group of Nile High School students qualified for DECA provincials. This is an incredibly prestigious honour, and the first time that students from Nile Academy have advanced that far in the competition. Special recognition should also be given to Nile High School students who participated and staff advisor, Mr. Michael Kaszowski for their hard work and dedication preparing for the competition.
