Our Grade 12 students recently stepped into the world of molecular biology by conducting a strawberry DNA extraction lab. Using everyday materials, students were able to isolate and observe real DNA—turning an abstract concept into a powerful hands-on experience.
This lab helped students deepen their understanding of genetics, cell structure, and biotechnology, while strengthening essential scientific skills such as careful observation, data analysis, and laboratory techniques.
