Congratulations to all the math league students from grade 6, 7 and 8. Throughout the school year of 2012-2013, the math league students in Nile Academy have been participating in various competitions.The Caribou Mathematics Competitions held by Brock University is one of the competitions they have been taking part in throughout the year.
Visit to the University of Toronto at Scarborough campus field trip with Prof.Natalie Rothman, Prof.Christine Berkowitz, Prof.Murat Yasar, and Instructor Geoff Peirsol. Nile Students Visit Ankara Library
Grade 4 students of Nile Academy went to ANKARA KITAPLIGI.Staff member of Ankara Kitapligi Sema TOPRAK gave our students a tour and informed the students about the Turkish library. Although this is the second year of the Nile Academy taekwondo team, we have achieved a total of 37 medals and special prizes which has been seen as a great success. Besides the disciplined and consistent education at our school, we also have cultural and sportive activities which help prepare our students for the future. All students of Nile Academy were gathered in the cafeteria area and library on Tuesday, April 16, to showcase their scientific prowess at the 5th Annual Science Fair. With such project names as ‘Strawberry DNA’, ‘Avoiding GMO’, and ‘Solar Distillation’, there was no shortness of intrigue among the judges, event organizers, members of the public, and fellow students.
