Grade 10 Bridge Prototype Challenge: Where Creativity Meets Engineering!
Our Grade 10 Technology and Skilled Trades (TAS2O) students put their creativity, engineering knowledge, and problem-solving skills to the test through an exciting hands-on Bridge Prototype Challenge at Nile Academy!
Working collaboratively, students designed, built, and tested their own bridge prototypes while exploring important engineering concepts such as structural stability, forces, balance, and material strength. Through this practical STEM learning experience, students discovered how engineering principles are applied to solve real-world design challenges.
The challenge encouraged students to think critically, experiment with different ideas, overcome obstacles, and improve their designs through testing. Along the way, they strengthened essential skills in teamwork, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving.
At Nile Academy, we believe in learning by doing. Our Technology and Skilled Trades program gives students opportunities to connect classroom knowledge with practical experiences, develop technical skills, and explore their interests in engineering, design, and innovation.
Because the future belongs to those who dare to imagine, create, and build!
Big ideas start with small structures. What would your bridge look like?
